First of all......

I'd like to say thank you for reading this, my first blog!
To write a book is a big decision to make for anyone.
To write a book about the last days I shared with Lils, my daughter, is something I never thought I could do.
But, as you can see, I have, and even though it makes me sad, it also makes me hopeful.
My whole reason for putting pen to paper is to bring knowledge of this rare, mostly fatal, blood disease to light, to show that anyone having to experience the news that their loved one is battling an illness, isn't alone.
